What We're All About
Master Boat Licence offers boat and personal water craft (PWC) training in Sydney. We pride ourselves on offering an easy to understand, yet comprehensive training method in a friendly and supportive environment. We operate from our own dedicated facility in Drummoyne. If you need a boat licence to drive your dream, we can help with the knowledge and practical skills to make that dream become a reality. Our trainers have enormous amounts of experience with a focus on safety and understanding the regulations.
Learn With Greg Urand
Trainer Greg Urand is the former Unit Commander for Marine Rescue Port Jackson, operating rescue vessels on Sydney Harbour. Greg is an approved boat licence provider with Transport for NSW, and has a Working with Children Certificate. Greg holds a commercial Coxswain Grade 1 Certificate of Competency, as well as Master < 24, and MED 2 & 3. He is an accredited Invigilator for Marine Radio Training Courses and an accredited first aid trainer. Greg has participated in many joint operations with Maritime and Water Police. He is a regular skipper on commercial charter vessels.

Learn With Adam Evans
Trainer Adam Evans is a commercial vessel skipper. Adam has worked both within Australia, as well as world-wide, driving vessels from small cruise boats to offshore supply vessels, to large oil tankers. Adam spent five years as the senior trainer at Maritime and Safety Training NSW, training commercial skippers such as Ferry skippers, Police, and Border Force. These days you will often see him driving the Sydney Showboat and other large vessels on Sydney Harbour.

Master Boat Licence is comprised of a group of expert trainers ranging from Master Mariners to Masters of Marine Rescue vessels.
With years of experience under our belts, all instructors hold professional commercial qualifications, as well as other qualifications
required for the job.
Quality training is our specialty. We pride ourselves on our ability to train right the first time. We have seen first hand what happens to boaters in trouble.

Our classes are restricted to a maximum of 5 people each group. All from similar backgrounds
Completed in one day
Once the course has been successfully completed, take your application form to Service NSW and swap it for a licence. Additional fees apply
