Meet your Master Boat Licence instructor at the confirmed location and time. Please arrive prepared for the weather and follow any instructions provided in your booking confirmation.
Your instructor will guide you through the required practical boating activities and allow you to demonstrate that you can operate the vessel safely.
After completing the practical course, follow the applicable Service NSW process for your official knowledge test and boat licence application.
The $200 Practical Boating Course does not include access to the General Boat Licence theory presentation or practice questions.
It also does not include the official Service NSW knowledge test, licence application or any applicable Service NSW fees.

This practical course provides boating instruction and practical evidence. Completing the course does not itself issue or guarantee a NSW boat licence.
The official knowledge test and licence application are completed separately through Service NSW. Students remain responsible for satisfying all current Service NSW eligibility, identification and application requirements.
